About Our Director

KEVIN JOHNS NABUKENYA is an Award-winning Ugandan Filmmaker and Lawyer majoring in Film Directing, Screenwriting, and Production management, she is the founder of Kjohns Studios a film production company based in Kampala Uganda, she has directed and Produced feature films like, Soccer Heart (2023), The Fallen Advocate (2023) both M-NET original movies and are currently available on Showmax, The Wave (2022) among other projects, these have scooped various nominations and awards from major film festivals around the globe such as The African Film Festival (TAFF) 2024, The Africa Movie Academy Awards 2022 and 2023 (AMAA), Stockholm City Film Festival-Sweden, The Uganda Film Festival (UFF) among others. In addition to these, she is also the director and Co–producer of My Love from another Land (2024) a Ugandan-Nigerian-American production.
